What we teach
Self defence in London

Self Defence

The foundation of our style is self defence techniques. These are effective ways to cope with common self defence situations. We've carefully chosen techniques from Japanese Jiu Jitsu and BJJ that are proven to work and are simple to learn. Each class begins by studying a self defence technique then practicing it against a resisting partner in a more realistic scenario. This ensures you are able to apply it under pressure

Japanese Jiu Jitsu in London

Jiu Jitsu

Our instructors are qualified to teach several traditional Japanese styles of martial arts. These are hundreds of years old and have a rich history of development during the long period of civil war in Japan. We collectively refer to these as styles of Japanese Jiu Jitsu. It's worth noting that these styles cover all aspects of combat, including strikes (punches, kicks etc), grappling techniques (throws, joint locks, submission holds etc) and weapon defences

Weapons

The traditional Japanese martial arts fully incorporate weapons. The principle is that your movements should not have to change much if weapons are involved and we always assume that our opponent may be armed. The curriculum ranges from traditional weapons such as sword and staff to defending against knife or stick attacks
